I'm Pastor Simone Hemmings, and it's a joy to share a part of my journey with you as a member of the NBNH Church family. Born and raised in Jamaica West Indies, my connection to the church community runs deep. My path to ministry began early, shaped by a profound calling to serve and uplift those around me. I pursued my theological studies with a passion for understanding the deeper nuances of faith. This foundation has been crucial in my pastoral journey, allowing me to connect scriptural teachings with the everyday lives of our congregation.

My ministry is deeply rooted in the belief that the church should be a beacon of hope and guidance, especially for the youth.

Joining the NBNH Church was a pivotal moment in my life, marking a new chapter where I could bring my vision of an engaging, nurturing, and dynamic church to life. I've focused particularly on youth and young adult ministries, believing that empowering the younger generation is key to a vibrant and sustainable faith community. My approach to sermons and teachings is to make them accessible and relevant, ensuring that they resonate with our diverse congregation.

Outside of my pastoral responsibilities, I find joy and balance in enjoying spending time with family, friends, and going on adventures.

I believe in the importance of nurturing personal relationships with God beyond the church walls and finding joy in everyday moments. My journey is not just about leading but also about learning from the wonderful community I serve.
